Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission
(LASEC)
Pursuing a career within the sports industry led me to the 2022 Professional Development Program Summit hosted by the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission. In this Summit, I connected with Los Angeles Sports leaders who shared their testimonies about the advantages and challenges working in the Sports and Entertainment Industry. This opportunity provided me with a glimpse of what goes behind the scenes in the sports industry.
Summit Overview:

Selected as one of 32 students from a pool of over 100 highly qualified candidates

Participated in interactive panels with Los Angeles sports executives discussing sales, marketing, PR, communications, event/venue management, operations, community relations, and partnership strategy

Developed critical job training and communication skills required to succeed in the sports industry
Dodgers All-Access
As a recent participant in the 2022 Professional Development Summit, I was given the opportunity to form part of the Dodgers All-Access event hosted by LASEC at Dodger Stadium on June 27, 2022.

As a volunteer, I provided excellent guest service to all guests and visitors of Dodger Stadium & LASEC while also overseeing and assisting Dodgers Alumni to have an efficient Meet-&-Greet.
College Football Playoff
Fan Central
As I continued to be involved LASEC, I was given another the opportunity to work with them, this time by forming part of the College Football Playoff Fan Central hosted by LASEC at the Los Angeles Convention Center from January 6-8, 2023.

As a Quarterback, I provided excellent guest service to all guests and visitors of the College Football Playoff & LASEC while also overseeing and managing an assigned zone of the event that included a team of staff members and activations in order to run a successful event. The zone I oversaw had the busiest foot traffic due to the many activations and trophies guest were able to interact with during their visit.
Lakers All-Access
After a successful College Football Playoff Fan Central event, I continued to be involved with LASEC by forming part of the Lakers All-Access event hosted at CRYPTO.com Arena on January 23, 2023.

As a Volunteer, I served as a Shift Leader and provided excellent guest service to all guests and visitors of LASEC and CRYPTO.com Arena while also overseeing and managing an assigned zone of the event that included a team of staff members and activations in order to run a successful event.
